Primathor, the Pithikos Blabi

Primathor, the Pithikos Blabi: [Prim-a-thor] is the name the research team dubbed this specimen of primate, most closely related to the ape yet with human features and male organs. Pithikos [Pith-i-kos] was an ancient breed of ape indigenous to the forest areas of the Kavalan Islands. Blabi [Blah-bee],or 'wrong monkey' as best translated into English, is how the Kavalan people would for centuries come to describe Primathor: born of wrong genetic make-up at the wrong time.

As a legend of the Kavalan people, Primathor was rejected from his native clan for not being all- Pithikos and feared amongst mankind for not being quite human.

With the help of Silamon (an old man he rescued from the Pithikos) and Lucia (Silamon's daughter and highly regarded officer in Goddess Octavia's army) Primathor must decide whether to obey the beat of the jungle that flows through his veins or to surrender to his human heart.

Skouliki of the Gorgons

Skouliki [Schu-lee-kee] the Deformed Gorgon: Viktos and his team's journey leads them off the coasts of Greece and into the strange and exotic waters of Turkey. It is there, the ancient temple of Kabiel delivers its offerings of myths to aid M.H.I. further in their investigation of Skouliki.

This creature stems from the beings known as Gorgon. She is the illegitimate daughter of her Uncle Thaumus and is hated by her more infamous half-sister Medusa.

Skouliki was cursed because of her mother's indiscretion and was born partly with the genetics of earthworms. While her sisters parade their serpents proudly on their heads and terrorize mortals with their magic, she hides her worms and lives in self-pity for the lack of any special powers.

Sibling rivalry, to say the least, engages Skouliki in a violent battle with Medusa and forces her to commit the ultimate act of betrayal. Only then does she learn of her gift, which ultimately saves her life.
